DECEMBER EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH
MELISSA RICH ~ MOVE-IN COORDINATOR
Traditions of Lebanon
Meet Melissa Rich, our December Employee of the Month! Melissa was born and raised in Ohio and has been Traditions of Lebanon’s Move-In Coordinator for almost a year.
Melissa has been married for 24 years and has two amazing children. She and her husband are excitedly awaiting their first grandchild in January of 2023. When Melissa isn’t working, she loves spending time with her wonderful family.
When asked what she loves most about her job, Melissa said, “By far, the thing I love most about my job is hearing all the wonderful and inspiring stories from our residents. I also love seeing the smiles on their faces.”
“There are many rewarding experiences working in senior living, but I’ll never forget this one new resident who was uncertain and unhappy about moving. I reassured him that he would soon love living at Traditions of Lebanon. He looked at me and said that I was his first true friend here. It melted my heart.”
Melissa said, “I love the work atmosphere at Traditions of Lebanon! Everyone gets along so well and treats one another like they are family.”
When asked why she nominated Melissa for Traditions Employee of the Month, Beth Deupree, Lebanon’s Executive Director, stated, “Melissa truly cares about the residents and strives to make their move into Traditions of Lebanon seamless but as fun and enjoyable as possible. She is always willing to pitch in and do whatever it takes, putting the residents first. We are so lucky to have Melissa on the Traditions of Lebanon team!”
Monique Campbell, Lebanon’s Community Relations Director, echoed Beth Deupree’s sentiments by adding, “Melissa always goes above and beyond to help others on our team and any resident that needs it. She is kind, compassionate, patient and thorough. She tackles all tasks with energy and attention to detail. Melissa never complains and is willing to do whatever is needed. As Beth said, we are very lucky to have her as part of our Traditions of Lebanon team!”
